last hurrah for All Hands Together To;

24 Sep

We started collecting ‘Hands’ at The Big Green Festival in March, took in the Chorlton Arts Festival along the way and kept collecting handprints at local primaries and community groups throughout the summer. Last Saturday we were on Chorlton Green at our last All Hands Together To; workshop!

Thankfully the sun shone and I enjoyed chatting and collecting the last handprints for our banner. I’m (pretty) certain we will have at least 500 textile handprints to make into our All hands Together To; banner clebrating 500 years of St Clements Church in Chorlton. I’m now equally excited and nervous about constructing the banner-I can’t wait to start laying out the handprints and arranging them into a giant rainbow sunflower-I am however consious we have a November deadline for the banner-less chat more work then! I shall keep you posted…..
